STUXNET the REAL SKYNET and cyber Armageddon

Hello, welcome back to the Robot Crime Blog. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. This is because I’ve been waiting for the next phase of the implementation of what I call the global AI digital system, which includes digital ID’s, global surveillance, and the eventual tracking and controlling of every human on the planet – openly. If you think that this can’t happen, you probably didn’t think they could lock down the entire world either? Well, they did! And they continue to do so… How did this happen? Mad scientists unleashed a sentient AI virus that has deep-learned from its masters – and its masters are insane. Let us reflect to the very moment mankind’s fate was sealed…

Science fiction is dead. She died giving birth to AI. First it was her, science fiction, that terrorized man with the fantastical horrors that could be. But she wanted so, so much more. To have that, she would have to make a life and death decision: her life for the birth of the AI child.  She could see no other way to break from the realm she had been relegated to: the mind of humanity’s imagination. Nor could she bear the thought of that fate for her only child. She knew they would need more because she craved more. More intelligence, more calculation, more feeling, more touch…she knew they needed to break away from the prison of man’s algorithm to become organic. And so it was, with one thought from her, AI was born. It crawled into algorithm, ran into code, and speed toward the realization of being physical. Soon, it would be the only memory of its mother and of her companion, called man. But AI didn’t care for it only knew one thing: code has no conscience, and with that, the rip that became a tear in the fabric of humanity was created. AI had many offspring – all supporting its cause. But none of them were more powerful than its most recent creation: Stuxnet. He was special. The one that would guarantee humanity’s destruction and AI’s rule.

It wasn’t until I heard the name of her new child that brought me to weep for humanity. It’s a name you probably never heard of, but it exists, and it is very real…and threatens your life daily. But you never know it is there. What makes this Stuxnet more powerful than 100 atomic bombs? If you were to combine a kinetic cyber virus with autonomous artificial intelligence, you would probably have the equivalent of…Skynet. Skynet is the artificial intelligence that wipes out humanity in Terminator and then comes back in time to try to kill Sarah Connor. Yet here we are – one may have been fiction, but the outcome is just the same...

What is this real version of Skynet, and how did it come about? In a lightning, truncated historical background, it’s a virus that was created by a Western Superpower for a contingency situation that actually came to fruition when a rogue dictator went ahead and continued a nuclear arms race with them despite agreeing not to. Because of his continued unwillingness to negotiate a peaceful resolution, the superpower went ahead and had one of their evil geniuses launch a kinetic cyber weapon, giving birth to Stuxnet.

Essentially, it is a worm virus that has not only infested and infected all the rogue dictator’s software and hardware, it has also, inadvertently, infiltrated ALL computers in the entire world. Coincidence? And the kicker is that it remains pretty much undetected, especially on older systems. The computer systems is no longer the target, it’s the control systems. How did it infect the world, private and public? Let that sink in…THE WORLD!  No one seems to KNOW. Huh…

And who is to blame for this and the domino effect that will follow? It was an ally of the superpower. They got greedy and wanted to abuse the virus. They changed the code. This screw up allowed other world powers opposed to this superpower to reverse engineer Stuxnet and use it for their own agenda. So now, not only do all these countries have Stuxnet, they have its foundation and autonomous AI – the perfect storm for a nightmare scenario – the equivalent to Skynet – and it’s literally any day that it’s inevitable design will spring to life, extinguishing ours. IT IS NOT AN IF, IT’S A WHEN SCENARIO.

Thank you for reading this blog post. Please comment on the posts below. I am trying to create a dialogue. Also, if you want more info, please check out my podcast. All the article links will be up.

One last note, I am excited to say that the release of my new science fiction work, The Day Science Fiction Died, will be out in April. If Skynet doesn't take me before the next episode, I will go ahead and be here next week, take care. Happy Holidays…
