weaponizing corporations and the beginning of the tech wars
The revolving door between the military and civilian corporations is no secret. Even how the kickbacks work. Pass a little legislation that grants contracts to a specific for-profit private corporation, wait a few years after you're vested. Leave office, and then unnamed politician goes and works for the very corporation they helped get the contract. Some call this lobbying. Sure, fine, OK. Or, it’s just business as usual…whatever. But now there is a new, more terrifying development and what I believe is a natural outgrowth of this loop of greed. Instead of these corporations building the weapons of the future for the militaries of various countries, these elite, esoteric corporations are now issuing their licenses for this military grade tech to the highest private corporate bidder or worse, the highest bidding dictator. Look what is beginning to happen in Venezuela.
Catholics are now being persecuted similar to the Uyghurs in China through private AI bought by governments to discriminate against a specific group of people for no other reason except of their beliefs. If this isn’t egregious enough, the pernicious ‘for profit’ highest bidder mentality of private corporation’s buttresses their callus pursuit for the bottom dollar, which has led to the selling of this dangerous AI tech to the highest bidding citizen.
Check out the light application of such an AI in action on a local government level. Look at Colorado and the Wi-Fi controlled thermostats. They were shut down state-wide without the individual home owner’s knowledge, the temperature was set, and it was unalterable. They said it was for the environment. What will be their next excuse? It’s for your own good? Good of your neighbor. Maybe they say, “We’re sorry, but if you or your family freezes, be rest assured, it was for the greater good.” The previous phrase has been uttered in a timeless loop of attempts of dictatorial control through the excuse of the greater good.
Stop thinking of guns, knives, and bombs as the weapon of the now. We live in the future. Those are weapons of the past. The new weapon is artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence that can take an airborne ‘vaccine’ like China just approved this month and change it into an airborne variety of Ebola, Lassa. Nanotech that can bio-hacked. Attach to your food. Attach to your skin, attach to your cells.
How about cameras on a microscopic level that report your every movement even within your home? Ever heard of the Internet of bodies? And because you have no idea it’s there, you don’t know you are being surveilled until your door is broken down by some authoritarian regime for having a conversation that is opposed to their policy, and you wonder how or why they are able to do that - it’s happening right now. Yeah, right now. It is called the Internet of things. The Internet of bodies. And in China, the surveillance social credit score. If you like what is going on over there right now, then do nothing. It has already landed here, and its implementation is not an if, but a when. Wake up, the Matrix has you. Resist.
